Four students from Herzog-Johann-Gymnasium Simmern completed an internship at HAHN Automation Group in Rheinböllen, giving them the opportunity to explore different career fields and gain their first practical experience in a professional environment.
Two of the students were particularly interested in technical careers and spent time in the training workshop, where they gained insights into a variety of tasks. They explored areas such as assembly, electronics, and warehouse logistics and learned more about the corresponding apprenticeship opportunities.
For the other two interns, the focus was on marketing. Throughout the week, they worked on practical assignments and supported the planning and implementation of social media activities. They also became familiar with applications within Adobe Creative Cloud and independently created their own content and graphics.
The internship gave all four students an opportunity to connect their personal interests with potential career paths while experiencing everyday work at an international automation company. For some of them, the week may even have been a first step toward a future apprenticeship or career at HAHN Automation Group.
