International Student Exchange: Learning Together and Gaining New Perspectives

For the second year in a row, HAHN Automation Group participated in an Erasmus+ exchange program between Puricelli Realschule plus Rheinböllen in Germany and the Mechanical Engineering High School (ESOS) in Croatia.

A total of 13 students – six from Germany and seven from Croatia – spent two engaging days at HAHN Automation Group. The program began with an introduction to the company, followed by a tour that gave the students insights into different departments and areas of work. On the second day, the focus shifted to hands-on experience: During an interactive workshop, the students had the opportunity to get actively involved and gain practical experience.

The international exchange provided participants with more than just insights into the professional world and technical career fields. Learning and working together also encouraged teamwork, intercultural exchange, and a better understanding of different perspectives.

The Erasmus+ program demonstrates the valuable role cross-border collaboration can play in helping young people explore future career opportunities – while creating new connections through shared experiences.
