On April 22, 2026, HAHN Automation Group in Rheinböllen opened its doors to students interested in technology as part of Girls’Day Rheinland-Pfalz. The event gave participants an opportunity to gain practical insights into technical career fields and discover the wide range of possibilities available in STEM.
At various hands-on stations, the students had the chance to get actively involved. They experimented, built, and gained firsthand insights into technical processes and everyday work. There was also plenty of time to ask questions and connect with employees, providing an authentic look at how diverse an apprenticeship or future career in a technical field can be.
In addition to the hands-on activities, the day offered plenty of opportunities to connect and have fun together. Over good food and conversations in a relaxed atmosphere, the participants were able to reflect on their experiences and impressions.
Girls’Day demonstrates how important it is to spark an interest in technology at an early age and give young people the opportunity to discover their own interests and abilities. For HAHN Automation Group, supporting the next generation of technical talent is an important part of career orientation – including encouraging more girls to explore the opportunities available to them in STEM careers.
