Girls' Day at HAHN Automation Group–All Information About the Next Event, Program and Registration
Girls' Day is a nationwide orientation day in Germany for the career and study orientation of girls, held once a year. The day is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as well as the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women, and Youth.
On this day, female students can gain insights into professions or courses of study that typically have a higher proportion of men. Specifically, it concerns occupations with a female share of less than 40 percent, such as in the fields of IT, crafts, natural sciences, and technology.
What Can You Expect from Girls' Day at HAHN?
- You meet other schoolgirls who are interested in technical professions
- You can take a look behind the scenes at HAHN and see the production halls
- You will learn how a special machine is built step by step and how the teams work together
- You can try out your manual skills by yourself at various stations
- You can talk to apprentices and ask them about their apprenticeships
- You will receive lots of information and tips about internships and apprenticeships at HAHN
- You will have a lot of fun with the other participants and apprentices and create memories that will stay with you for a long time
