Your Future Colleagues, Who Also Joined Us as Career Changers

After graduating from high school, I originally did an apprenticeship as a media designer, but quickly realized that I actually felt more comfortable in the skilled trades. Through my friends and family, I became aware of HAHN and took the opportunity to get a fresh start. HAHN is supporting me in taking the external examination to become an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering after five years of professional experience as an Assembly Assistant. I am being intensively prepared for the exam content in the assembly department and in the training workshop, which is helping me a lot.

What I particularly appreciate about my job and my working environment is the friendly atmosphere with nice colleagues and competent superiors. The company takes personal concerns into consideration and the quick induction and integration into the team made my start particularly pleasant. In addition, the activities in production are very much in line with my strengths.

Leonhard Barth

Assembly Assistant

After graduating from business high school, I started studying business IT in Friedberg, but didn't finish. I then worked in IT application support for several years. I became aware of HAHN because my brother completed his apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician here. I took the opportunity to make a career change and received comprehensive support from the company.

After my job interview, I was invited to do an internship in the training workshop, where I was able to get to know the company and its processes better. I was then taken on directly and given specific training. The regular meetings with my superiors were particularly helpful, as I was able to reflect on my progress, clarify questions and set specific development goals for my career.

What I appreciate about my work is the open interaction within the team and working with the latest technology. The varied tasks always motivate me to acquire new knowledge and skills.
