On October 3, we welcomed around 150 children and their families to our company headquarters in Rheinböllen to give them exciting insights into the world of technology as part of the “Türen auf mit der Maus” campaign.
The initiative by Westdeutscher Rundfunk offers groups of children and families the opportunity to explore companies and institutions that otherwise work behind closed doors once a year. This year's motto was “Spielzeit!”, with the aim of focusing on playful learning, creative discovery, and shared experiences.
At our company, the young visitors had the opportunity to try out their technical skills at numerous interactive stations, learn about fascinating aspects of automation, and go home with the official “Maus Technician Certificate.” In addition to these learning moments, a Bobby Car race track and the creative design and sending of their own “Maus postcard” provided a lot of fun.
It was a day full of inspiration, laughter, and creativity—and we are proud to have sparked enthusiasm for technology and innovation in the next generation with our event!
