Promoting Young Talent at the WorldSkills Regio Cup

At HAHN Automation Group, fostering young talent is a cornerstone of our commitment to innovation and excellence. Young specialists like Jan Luca Olbermann and Paul Behre are exemplifying this commitment by shaping the future through early responsibility and hands-on projects. In their first year of training, these remarkable trainees independently designed and built a radial engine model, demonstrating their creativity and technical prowess.

The key to their success lies in the ownership of projects, effective teamwork, and the freedom to share and implement ideas. Their motivation soars when they can engage in concrete, challenging work that allows them to apply and expand their skills.

Notably, Jan Luca and Paul are proud alumni of the Regio Cup 2023, organized by WorldSkills Germany. This June, the HAHN Automation Group is excited to once again host the regional apprentice competition “Industrial Mechanics | Mechatronics” at our Rheinböllen site. On June 12–13, trainees from various regions will put their talents to the test across multiple skill stations, showcasing the best of young talent in industrial mechanics and mechatronics.

We are committed to providing young professionals with the opportunities and support they need to excel, and we look forward to witnessing the impressive skills and innovations that will be on display at this year's competition.
