A fantastic achievement for our apprenticeship team in Rheinböllen: our apprentices Tim Lilienthal (Mechatronics Technician) and Elias Ritt (Electronics Technician) earned an excellent 2nd place at the German Mechatronics Championship. The competition took place from November 5–7 at Festo’s Learning Center in St. Ingbert, Germany.
With this strong performance, Tim and Elias secured a place on the German national team and will represent Germany at EuroSkills 2027 in Düsseldorf — the European Skills Championships. EuroSkills gathers Europe’s best young professionals; in 2027 it will be hosted in Düsseldorf for the first time, co-organized by Germany and Luxembourg, and held at Messe Düsseldorf in late September 2027.
In preparation, they will take part in international training sessions alongside participants from countries such as Brazil, China, Australia, Austria, and Switzerland — a great opportunity to sharpen their expertise and gain global experience in a high-performance team environment.
We are incredibly proud of Tim and Elias. Their success highlights the strength of our apprenticeship program, outstanding technical skill, and the spirit of innovation and teamwork that defines the HAHN Automation Group. Congratulations on this milestone!
